Adam Levine is known for making big declarations at the beginning of each season on The Voice. Often, this tactic works in his favor — look at what happened when he labeled Tessanne Chin the front runner during season five! Is the same fate in store for either of Adam’s new favorites?
The Voice is back, and with it, plenty of excitement from Adam Levine. Facebook fans are paying attention this time, as the popular judge accurately predicted Tessanne Chin’s victory last season. Now, he’s latched on to a new act: Dawn and Hawkes. The duo impressed with a stunning cover of Beatles hit I’ve Just Seen A Face. All the judges were pleased with the performance, but none more so than Adam Levine. He immediately told the pair that they’d just completed his favorite audition in the history of The Voice.
It all makes sense when you think about it, for Adam has confessed to being a huge fan of the Beatles. So naturally, when you combine two amazing singers with one of the judge’s favorite songs, you have a recipe for success. Still, some fans are wondering if it might be a bit much to claim that Dawn and Hawkes’ audition was any better than, say, Juliet Simms in season two, or, of course, the lovely Tessane Chin from season five. And as Twitter followers have noted in the past, a great audition isn’t necessarily indicative of further success in the competition. We’ll just have to wait and see what else these two have in store.
We’ve posted a video of Dawn and Hawkes’ amazing audition. Check it out and then head to the comments section to tell us what you think!
