Last night, Kim Kardashian easily stole the spotlight at Elton John’s Oscars party. But we think Khloe deserves a little credit as well! Not only did the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star look gorgeous in her Marc Bouwer gown, she contributed $5,000 to an amazing cause!
Despite all the charity scandals that intrigued Facebook critics last year, the Kardashians like to think of themselves as great philanthropists. Khloe Kardashian certainly fits the bill, for, according to E! News, she donated an impressive $5,000 to the Elton John AIDS Foundation. Word of the reality star’s generous contribution briefly flashed on the screen at the organization’s Oscars viewing party, along with the following message: “Lots of love and support!”
Although we think her charity contribution is worthy of attention, most of last night’s focus involved Khloe’s racy red dress. The celeb offered fans a sneak peak before the party, posting a sultry photo to Instagram. She told followers, “Face brought to you by @joycebonelli @clydehairgod!!! These @lorraineschwartz jewels are giving me life!! And just wait until you see what @robzgardi and @marielwashere put together!”
Khloe followed up her preview post by linking Twitter followers to several additional pictures of her Oscar party getup. Her slinky Marc Bouwer dress was, in many ways, similar to Kim Kardashian’s Celia Kritharioti gown; both featured red hues and ample cleavage. But Khloe diverged from her sister in the makeup department, replacing Kim’s bright red lipstick with a far darker shade.
What do you think of Khloe Kardashian’s Oscar dress? And how about that $5,000 donation? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it, so feel free to sound off in the comments section below!
