If you went into the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta expecting another big blowout between NeNe Leakes and Marlo Thomas, you were bound to be disappointed. Instead, this week’s drama focused on Porsha Stewart, who, according to Peter Thomas, is nowhere as sweet and innocent as she likes to think.
Facebook fans will admit to being annoyed by Porsha’s apparent lack of intellect (ahem, Underground Railroad) but on the whole, she remains one of the more sympathetic cast members on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Cynthia Bailey’s husband Peter Thomas appears eager to change that label, however. He decided to meet up with Kordell Stewart in hopes of digging up some dirt on Porsha.
What did Peter learn during his man date with Kordell? Apparently, the athlete’s disgust with Porsha’s family ultimately convinced him that a divorce was necessary. In particular, Kordell mentioned Porsha’s habit of eating huge pepperoni pizzas on his cream-colored furniture. Of course, by using his mother-in-law’s lack of discretion as an impetus for a divorce, Kordell reaffirmed his status as Real Housewives villain.
Kordell did offer up a few other interesting tidbits, other than, you know, pizza and cream chairs. He hinted that the lengthy nature of his divorce resulted from Porsha’s alleged attempt to go after his money, or, as he put it, “some things that she can’t get.” The athlete added, “There’s a law in the state of Georgia that talks separate property. Because [Porsha] didn’t pay her taxes, she lost the condo…And being that her name didn’t go on anything, I’m good.”
Although she didn’t direct the drama with Kordell head-on while chatting about last night’s RHOA episode on Twitter, Porsha Stewart did retweet several fan posts suggesting that Peter Thomas would be better off focusing on his own relationship problems.
