Ramona Singer Says She’s ‘Great’ Despite Divorce

March 11, 2014 03:00 PM by Stephanie Gustafson

After over two decades of marriage, Mario and Ramona Singer have decided to call it quits. Fortunately, their divorce appears to be more amicable than what you’d expect from a Real Housewives of New York City couple. In fact, Ramona says she’s doing great!

Ramona Singer’s fans were super bummed to learn of her split from Mario Singer. A ton of rumors surrounding the origins of the divorce have been swirling on Facebook, so, in hopes of clearing up any misconceptions, Ramona agreed to an interview on Bethenny Frankel’s talk show.

During her chat with Bethenny, Ramona admitted, “Right now, I am going through some adversity, but through adversity you become stronger, and you know what? I have me, myself and I, so all is good…I’m great.”

The real question, of course, is whether Ramona’s divorce will play out on The Real Housewives of New York City. Thus far, it looks like the answer is a definite no — but only because of the divorce timeline. “None of this happened until after the show. My situation with my husband didn’t happen until just a couple of weeks ago.”

Although Ramona continues to shy away from addressing the many divorce rumors on Twitter, she insists that she and Mario are working things out and that, notably, “Nothing is written in stone.” Perhaps the two will aim for a reconciliation for the sake of their daughter. That’s what fans are hoping, although chances of this are slim, at best.

Do you think Mario and Ramona Singer will be able to resolve their marital issues? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below!
