Kim Kardashian received a ton of Facebook criticism when she packed on the pounds during her first pregnancy. But the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star now boasts a rocking post-baby body, which she claims was made possible through her strict adherence to the Atkins diet.
Despite accusations of Photoshop interference on her Instagram page, it’s pretty obvious that Kim Kardashian has lost a ton of weight since she gave birth to North West. Naysayers claim that she simply took the easy way out with plastic surgery, but Kim insists that her inspiring weight loss has required a lot of hard work and dedication.
The other day, Kim linked Twitter followers to a Mobio INsider discussion surrounding recommended weight loss approaches. When asked how she managed to lose so much weight so quickly, the celebrity admitted, “I did the Atkins diet…I work out 5 times a week and try to eat as healthy as possible.”
That’s not to say that Kim Kardashian’s weight loss efforts are always 100 percent successful. The reality star confessed that, after backing off on her diet for some time, she noticed that she’d gained a few pounds back. Thus, she was forced to “check [herself]” and return to her low-carb diet.
Based on photos from Kim’s recent trip to Miami, she’s obviously doing a great job of maintaining her curvaceous post-baby figure. The celeb managed to squeeze herself into one of Kylie Jenner’s bikinis, which she said she intended to keep for the foreseeable future. She also looked slim in while parading around town in a vintage Alaia dress and cropped Kardashian Kollection turtleneck.
