Chelsie Hightower may no longer be gliding across the stage on Dancing With The Stars, but she still enjoys tuning in each week and reliving her glory days. For season eighteen, the dancer is offering up detailed feedback in an exclusive blog for ABC News. What did she think of the season premiere?
Facebook fans are still super disappointed by Chelsie Hightower’s absence on Dancing With The Stars. While it’s sad that she’s no longer on stage, it is nice to know that Chelsie still considers herself a part of the DWTS community. The dancer has dedicated herself to providing other fans with excellent insight into everything from costumes to choreography.
In her first Dancing With The Stars blog post for season eighteen, Chelsie shared her thoughts on each and every one of the premiere performances. She referred to Danica McKellar as “an early favorite,” although she also had only good to say about Meryl Davis and Charlie White’s obvious talent. Although most of her feedback was positive, Chelsie did not hesitate to offer criticism where it was needed, accusing James Maslow of lacking fluidity and bemoaning the fact that Billy Dee Williams was clearly “not a great dancer.”
Despite a few first performance mishaps, Chelsie agreed with Twitter followers that the premiere was a smashing success. “If the opening show is any indication, and it is, this will be a strong season featuring great dancing!”
