Kim Kardashian has stirred up quite the buzz on Twitter and Facebook with her controversial Vogue cover, but it wouldn’t be a magazine shoot without an interview as well. In the April edition of Vogue, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star chatted about her childhood, where she admitted that she and her sisters were “mean girls” growing up. Not surprising.
Kim Kardashian, a mean girl? No, it couldn’t possibly be true! Ok, you can stop laughing now. But seriously, Kim admitted in her interview with Vogue that she and her sisters were mean girls as kids. How so? In the interview, Kim recalls one time in particular: “One time Kourtney and I sat in my mom’s closet..we must’ve been eight or nine, and we were like, ‘If Mom dies, we’re going to write down who gets what.’”
And they actually went through with it! “We went through every last piece of her wardrobe. We were so mean then!” Hmm, some things never change, huh? And speaking of Kris Jenner, in the article, the writer refers to the momager as “agelessly glamorous,” leaving us all to wonder why Vogue is sucking up to the Kardashian clan.
Whatever the reason, the magazine has been facing serious backlash for putting Kim Kardashian and Kanye West on their April cover. Many angry readers are canceling their subscriptions, including celebrities. Kim Kardashian, however, is reportedly not letting the negativity get her down.
Now, it’s your turn to sound off! What do you think of Kim Kardashian finally landing on the cover of Vogue? Did the magazine make a huge mistake? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear from you. Comment below to share your thoughts with us.
