Yolanda Foster is no longer simply a cast member on The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills. Ever since she began her battle with Lyme disease, the reality star has served as a passionate advocate for victims all around the world. She recently stopped by The Doctors to explain why she decided to go public with her health issues.
Since sharing her Lyme disease struggles with the world, Yolanda Foster has enjoyed constant displays of sympathy and admiration on Facebook. Fans really look up to the reality star and her dedication to spreading the word about a devastating disease.
During a recent appearance on The Doctors, Yolanda said that she was hoping “to bring awareness to a disease that, really, so many people know so little about.” Yolanda also admitted that, prior to her diagnosis, she was completely clueless about Lyme disease. She hopes that, with the help of her campaign, she can prevent others from enduring the physical and emotional pain of this terrible ailment.
Fortunately, throughout her struggle with Lyme disease, Yolanda Foster has been able to lean on her very supportive friends and family members. Her husband, David Foster, has been especially helpful during these trying times. “He’s been extraordinary…He’s the guy that stood by me.”
In addition to an amazing husband, Yolanda also boasts a wonderful fan base that is always eager to cheer her up when she’s feeling down. She’s made a point of thanking her fans on Twitter on many occasions — it’s obvious that she really appreciates all the support.
