Bookgate drama continued on last night’s episode of The Real Housewives Of New York City. All the verbal jabs made by Aviva Drescher and Carole Radziwill were definitely below the belt – making the catfight quite epic. But now Carole is saying Aviva is slandering her career – which is illegal. Is Carole thinking about suing Aviva?
Last week we saw the beginning of the bookgate fight between Aviva and Carole – and this week we saw the second half. After Carole repeatedly called Aviva a phony; Aviva threw down the gauntlet by saying, “And who in the Kennedy’s are you still friends with today?” A couple more names like psychopath came out of Carole’s mouth as the fight continued down the stairs. If you missed this crazy fight, take a look at the clip below.
This fight got many RHONY fans talking on Facebook and Twitter. And now Carole is addressing the fight in her Bravo blog and she is far from over any of it! There is no doubt Carole is passionate about her career – and she is protecting it like a mama bear would protect its cub. Carole wrote in her Bravo blog, “The lies she is promoting in the press and social media, and of course her scenes on RHONY, are all legally actionable. You can call someone a lousy writer. You can say you hate their book. You can even call a person “white trash” but you can’t go on television and slander a person’s career. It’s illegal, even on reality shows.”
Do you think Carole should take legal action against Aviva? Or is Carole being too sensitive on this bookgate drama? We want to hear from you – leave us a comment below.
