The cast members on Keeping Up With The Kardashians are very rarely offended by Kardashian-based spoofs; Kim Kardashian particularly enjoyed the hilarious James Franco and Seth Rogen parody of Bound 2. But the Ray J sex tape is apparently off limits — a recent Joan Rivers satire convinced Khloe Kardashian to cancel her Fashion Police appearance.
Joan Rivers is no longer in the Kardashian family’s good graces. The television personality recently delighted Facebook fans with a spoof of Kim Kardashian and Ray J’s infamous sex tape. While the parody was all in good fun, Khloe was definitely not impressed. She decided to make her disapproval clear by backing out on Fashion Police at the last minute.
Although insiders told TMZ that Khloe’s decision to ditch Fashion Police had left producers scrambling, a source for the New York Daily News insists that the reality star’s absence is no big deal. “Joan is fine. She says ‘Thank you’ for the publicity…She wrote new jokes. She’s doesn’t give a s*** about the Kardashians.”
Khloe Kardashian has yet to mention the Joan Rivers sex tape debacle on Twitter, and, unless one of her followers provokes her with a truly insulting message, we’re guessing that she’ll ignore the issue altogether. Even though the original sex tape was largely responsible for their current fame and fortune, the Kardashians are still very touchy about the whole debacle.
Do you think Joan Rivers’ sex tape parody is offensive? Or does Khloe Kardashian need a better sense of humor? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it, so feel free to sound off in the comments section below!
