Sean Avery and Karina Smirnoff sure didn’t last very long on Dancing With The Stars! For the most part, Facebook fans are okay with that, as the athlete didn’t seem all that enthusiastic about the show. Now, he’s claiming that his elimination had nothing to do with his poor scores or lack of popularity…it’s all the producers’ fault!
According to recently ousted contestant Sean Avery, Dancing With The Stars definitely has an agenda — and if you’re not prepared to abide by it, look out!
The morning after his elimination, Sean revealed his theory on Good Morning America. “I think in reality TV or some sort of competition, if you have a disagreement with the producers then generally that seals your fate quite early.”
Apparently, last week, the athlete had taken issue with being portrayed as this season’s “bad boy.” He chatted with one of the producers about the problem, but later realized that, in doing so, he’d complained himself right off the show.
Critics allege that Sean was eliminated due to his low scores and a lack of votes, not as a result of a disagreement with the producers. The hockey player has been accused of being a sore loser — an insult he finds quite offensive! He eventually took to Twitter to tell off the haters, tweeting, “To all you non-competitive s*** talkers….not being happy about losing is usually a trait successful people carry. I tell it like it is.”
