Jaws dropped when Rachel Frederickson revealed her slim body on the season finale of The Biggest Loser. Rachel Frederickson, the season 15 winner, dropped more than 150 pounds. But now Rachel is putting back on weight – so how much does she weigh now?
Who can forget all the drama Rachel caused when she revealed her amazing weight loss. Facebook and Twitter were abuzz with congratulations, as well as criticism, for Rachel. Many fans of the show thought that she was WAY too skinny and might be facing a scary weight issue. Even Bob Harper spoke out about how surprised he was when Rachel walked out on the stage. “What people don’t understand is when the contestants leave to go home they’re in charge of themselves. I had not seen her until that night, and so when ‘Whoa.’ And I’ve been on the show since the beginning, forever,” Bob told Rachel Ray.
Now two months later Rachel Frederickson has put on nearly 20 pounds and is telling US Weekly, “I think I’m at my perfect weight.” Rachel still works out six days a week, but only for an hour. She even confessed that she indulges in an Oreo every so often - stating, “it’s not the end of the world.” Who doesn’t do that?
As for all the backlash Rachel faced when she lost the weight, she has a positive attitude about it. She feels her experience started a discussion on body image and that’s a good thing. As for what keeps her motivated to be healthy – Rachel shares that she is still in contact with the show, its nutritionist and psychologist.
