The Real Housewives Of Orange County is back, and with it, plenty of new opportunities for drama. This season, Shannon Beador, Lizzie Rovsek and Danielle Gregorio are joining in on the fun. Tamra Barney says that adjusting to their presence has been difficult. What gives?
Last night, Facebook fans had the opportunity to learn more about new Real Housewives Of Orange County cast member Shannon Beador. Amazingly enough, she seemed to get along just fine with Vicki Gunvalson. Her relationship with Tamra, however, may be a bit more contentious. After all, Tamra is in no way interested in making new friends.
During a recent chat with Glamour, Tamra admitted that she always made a point of telling new housewives, “I’m not here to be your friend, I’m here to make a good show.” She added that, if friendships emerged, there was absolutely nothing wrong with that…but she never planned to go out of her way to make nice with the other cast members.
It’s never easy to get along with the other housewives, but that difficult task becomes far trickier when new cast members act like they know it all. These battles quickly extend beyond filming and into the realm of Twitter. Tamra explained, “There’s the type that comes on strong…We have one like that this year, so I don’t know if I’m going to like her next year. She just came on knowing everything and how to do everything; you would think that she was a pro at it.”
Do you think Tamra Barney should rethink her approach and do a better job of welcoming new Real Housewives Of Orange County cast members? Sound off in the comments section below!
