There are definite benefits to getting a foothold in Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, but some of its finest ladies allege that the fame and fortune is in no way worth the stress. Kandi Burruss disagrees, however, maintaining that her time on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta has proved quite helpful for her career.
In the aftermath of the crazy Real Housewives Of Atlanta reunion, Kenya Moore is thinking about quitting the show for good…that is, if Facebook rumors of Porsha Stewart’s imminent departure aren’t true! Other cast members, however, have made it clear that they intend to remain on the show. NeNe Leakes will definitely be back for more and, based on a recent interview, the same can be said for Kandi Burruss!
This morning, Kandi and Mama Joyce stopped by V103 for a quick chat. Addressing the drama on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, Kandi acknowledged that filming was definitely stressful at times. “There’s been a lot of things that have happened on [RHOA] that, you know, I don’t necessarily like too much, but at the same time, business wise? It’s been a lot of perks.”
One of the greatest benefits of Kandi’s spot on the cast of Real Housewives Of Atlanta was the success of A Mother’s Love, the musical based on the reality star’s relationship with Mama Joyce. The play opened to great acclaim and thus far, its soundtrack is also receiving a ton of praise on Twitter. Kandi hopes that her continued fame will allow her to pursue similar projects in the future.
