Carole Radziwill Feels Aviva Drescher Used BookGate To Promote Her Book

April 28, 2014 12:00 PM by Megan Thompson

This season of The Real Housewives Of New York City could also be referred to as the BookGate season. There has been so much drama (and let’s not forget good fights) between Carole Radziwill and Aviva Drescher. Even the other housewives are over it, but BookGate continues on. Will BookGate ever really be over?

This week, Heather was determined to have Carole and Aviva put their fight behind them. With the women attending all the same parties, Heather wanted there to be some peace among the group. At Kristen’s clam bake, Aviva pulled a hesitant Carole aside to try to bury the hatchet. But it seemed that Aviva just poured gasoline on the fire when she told Carole she got a sneak peek of her upcoming book. Let’s take a look at the clip:

In Carole’s Bravo blog she explains why BookGate is such a hot topic for her. “Aviva trampled on everything I hold dear. Not only my career, but specifically a book I wrote about my life with my late husband and dedicated to him,” Carole wrote. But she went on to explain that she thinks Aviva is just using this whole book fight to promote her book, “The book thing was essentially cannon fodder for reality drama. Viv used it to make a storyline and promote Leggy Blonde.”

There is no doubt that BookGate has gotten plenty of air time on RHONY this season – and #bookgate is heavily searched on Twitter. So we want to know, did you read either Carole’s or Aviva’s book because of all this drama?  Let us know, leave us a comment below.

Of course she did…but it doesn’t seem to have hurt Carole that badly either. On the message boards I’ve seen, the majority of people have been so disgusted with Aviva’s comments that they sought out Carole’s books as a sign of support.

It’s too bad that Aviva felt that she had to accuse Carole of using a ghost writer in order to promote her book. Whatever. I hope it’s all over.

Of course Aviva had to instigate BookGate to promote her book, how else would anyone have read it? Unlike Carole, no one outside of the Real Housewives franchise has heard of Aviva Drescher. She’s got no personal accomplishments. I can just imagine how vacuous and boring her book will be.

Jealous of Carole career. Her book What Remains is wonderful and heartfelt. Aviva is vile and nasty. Aviva book is not worth reading. We all know what you are Aviva. BORING, BORING, BORING!
