Speculation surrounding Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding has been rampant, with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star recently shooting down the vast majority of Facebook rumors regarding her upcoming ceremony. However, based on a recently released copy of the official invitation, it looks like the wedding will take place in France, later this month.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s big day is quickly approaching! Given the increased frequency with which the couple has been traveling to France, we assumed the wedding would take place in the near future; a copy of the invitation recently shared by Us Weekly confirms that the ceremony is scheduled for May 24th.
The invitation, although quite elegant, is lacking in details. Kim wants the occasion to be a private affair, and while she’ll eventually release photos from the ceremony and reception to the public, she doesn’t want to see a ton of information about her special day circulating in the tabloids. The reality star made this wish clear in a recent Twitter rant, explaining, “We are not filming our wedding for Keeping Up With The Kardashians…As much as we would love to share these memories on camera, we’ve decided to keep this close to our heart.”
Eager to keep all details regarding her wedding away from the media, Kim’s invitation simply included the date of the wedding and recommendations for attire at the rehearsal dinner. She also promised, “Details upon arrival” and asked that guests respond with their plans by May 2nd.
