Vicki Gunvalson is rarely kind to newcomers, with the sole possible exception being Shannon Beador. The reality star’s frosty tone was particularly off-putting during the latest episode of The Real Housewives Of Orange County, when she was incredibly rude to Lizzie Rovsek. Even Vicki is willing to admit when she’s wrong, which is why she later issued an apology for her terrible behavior.
Facebook fans never expected Vicki Gunvalson and Lizzie Rovsek to get along, but nobody could have anticipated just how rude the Real Housewives Of Orange County veteran would be when she met the latest addition to this season’s cast. Vicki made fun of everything from Lizzie’s name to her history as a pageant star, adding fuel to the fire by neglecting to include the RHOC newbie in a round of shots.
Amazingly enough, Vicki has seen the error in her ways — and she’s willing to make an apology. In her latest Bravo blog, Vicki admitted, “Watching this week’s episode made me very upset on how I treated Lizzie when we first met. All I can say is that is not the person who I want to be, nor am I proud of how I talked to her when we were in the limo.”
Of course, this is Vicki we’re talking about, so there’s really no such thing as a full apology. Although she said she was sorry, Vicki also attracted ire from the Twitter community by claiming that Bravo had neglected to include a great deal of the limo drama in the final cut. The implication, of course, is that Lizzie antagonized Vicki…but fans did not have the pleasure of witnessing this particular scene.
