Vicki Gunvalson is rarely kind in her dealings with Real Housewives Of Orange County newbies (with the possible exception being Shannon Beador), but the reality star was particularly nasty to Lizzie Rovsek. During last night’s episode, she tried to apology for her terrible behavior…but, predictably, continued to treat Lizzie with disdain.
Facebook fans recently witnessed a half-hearted apology on Vicki Gunavlson’s Bravo blog , as well as on her Twitter page. The other day, they were able to see a similar display on television. First, however, Vicki consulted with the other Real Housewives Of Orange County newbie: Shannon Beador. For some reason, Vicki seems to have a lot of respect for Shannon, which is why she was willing to listen to the housewife’s criticism.
According to Shannon, Vicki was out of line during her first encounter with Lizzie Rovsek. A very adament Vicki insisted that she was well within her right to make fun of Lizzie’s name, because, apparently, only a little kid would go by Lizzie. Of course, as many viewers pointed out, Vicki accusing Lizzie of having an overly cutesy name served as an excellent example of the pot calling the kettle black.
Later, during Heather Dubrow’s disastrous hoedown party, Vicki decided to try for a reconciliation with Lizzie. First, she decided to sneak in another jab, telling Lizzie, “Nice to meet you.” Eventually, the reality star was able to come down from her high horse and admit that there w as no excuse for her terrible behavior. Lizzie was nice enough to accept the apology, and the two decided to start fresh.
