Real Housewives Of Atlanta fans are well aware of the ongoing tension between Mama Joyce and Todd Tucker. The main source of resentment is Todd’s financial status; Kandi Burruss’ mom thinks that her son-in-law is a gold digger. But Kandi knows that her husband loves her and she doesn’t require him to prove it by purchasing expensive gifts.
Based on the recent debut of Kandi’s Wedding, it’s obvious that Kandi Burruss enjoys indulging in the finer things in life. But one of the things Facebook fans love about the Real Housewives Of Atlanta star is that she doesn’t demand flashy displays of wealth from her loved ones.
Kandi has made her attitude regarding money and relationships quite clear on a number of occasions, most notably by arguing with Mama Joyce over Todd Tucker’s alleged status as a gold digger. The reality star once again clarified her position on this topic during a recent appearance on BET’s 106 and Park. While discussing engagement ring size preferences, the reality star admitted, “I don’t really think the size of the ring matters…I like the uniqueness of a ring.”
Always eager to show off her personal sense of style, Kandi said that the last thing she wanted was to post Twitter photos featuring the same ring as every other bride-to-be. Of course, Mama Joyce’s stance on this subject is a bit different; Kandi confessed that her mom would much prefer “something she can take to the bank or to the pawn shop.”
Do you agree with Kandi Burruss? Is it important for an engagement ring to be unique? Feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below!
