Kendall Jenner’s topless photo shoot for Interview Magazine has received quite a bit of negative feedback on Facebook; although she’s eighteen, critics still think that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star is too young to be posing in such a provocative manner. Kris Jenner, on the other hand, is perfectly fine with her daughter’s racy images.
Kris Jenner has never had a problem with her daughters’ often controversial career decisions. In fact, a number of critics have accused the Keeping Up With The Kardashians momager of orchestrating much of the controversy surrounding her kids. Whether or not this is true, it’s clear the Kris approves of choices that other moms might find problematic.
In a recent live interview with the Huffington Post, Kris defended Kendall Jenner’s topless photo shoot, which spurred a fair amount of backlash on Twitter. The momager explained that, in posing topless, Kendall was simply doing her job. “She’s a model and that’s really her profession.” According to Kris, showing skin “[comes] with the territory” when you’re an in-demand model.
To be fair, Kendall has enjoyed a very successful 2014, with highlights including an appearance on the runway at Chanel’s show for Paris Week, as well as a recent photo shoot for Vogue Paris. Kris feels that her daughter’s success is the result of a lot of hard work, not to mention, a great physique. “She has like, the perfect body, especially one that wants to be in the modeling business.”
