The Giudices and Gorgas are very familiar with the courtroom scene, but for once, it’s a Real Housewives Of New Jersey star making the allegations. Melissa and Joe Gorga are currently in the midst of evicting the purchaser of their Montville mansion, due to a failure to make regular payments.
In spite of her controversial book and Real Housewives Of New Jersey paycheck, Melissa Gorga is greatly in need of the dough from the earlier sale of her Montville home. She and Joe Gorga are currently pursuing legal action in hopes of obtaining the money still owed by the purchaser of the mansion. Apparently, in spite of the extended closed option agreed upon last summer, this individual has failed to pay up.
A rep for Melissa and Joe Gorga recently filled the couple’s Facebook fans in on the details of the situation, explaining to Us Weekly, “To date, the purchaser has failed to uphold his financial obligations under the agreement…After repeated attempts to have purchaser honor his agreement, the Gorgas were left with no other choice, but to pursue legal action and filed a summons for eviction.”
This lack of payment has proven incredibly problematic for the Gorgas, who, as Twitter followers understand, are currently working on their new home in Franklin Lakes. While dealing with the cost and hassle of the building process, they’ve also been forced to pay taxes on the Montville home, even though they’re not currently living in it. Melissa Gorga told Us Weekly that, while she believed in giving people the benefit of the doubt, she simply could no longer afford to “pay for a complete stranger to live in a multi-million dollar home.”
Do you think Melissa and Joe Gorga are justified in their attempts to evict the person living in their Montville mansion? Sound off in the comments section below!
