It’s hard to believe, based on all the shenanigans we see on television, but some of the smartest celebrities are actually reality stars. Even Jersey Shore boasts a handful of intelligent souls, with JWoww recently capturing 8th place on Time’s official list of the smartest Twitter celebrities.
Attractive, outspoken, flirtatious…these are all words the average Jersey Shore Facebook fan might use to describe JWoww. Few, however, would think of the celebrity as particularly intelligent. No, she’s not the biggest dunce in the reality world, but she’s not exactly the typical viewer’s vision of a scholarly individual.
In spite of this public perception, JWoww has managed to impress time and time again in the social media sphere, with plenty of pithy remarks and surprisingly astute observations. Time recently noticed JWoww’s tweets and rewarded her with a spot on its list of smartest Twitter celebrities. JWoww took 8th place, beating out the likes of Seth MacFarlane, Stephen Colbert and even J.K. Rowling!
Although Time’s list of smart Twitter celebs was released over a week ago, JWoww was not aware of her accomplishment until the other day, when she proudly directed followers to the official list. The celebrity also tweeted, “LMAO, @TIME named me the 8th smartest celeb on Twitter…”
Unfortunately, fans hoping for more of JWoww’s sarcastic tweets are bound to be disappointed. The reality star recently gave birth to an adorable little girl, which means that, for the time being, the majority of her social media posts will revolve around her exciting motherhood journey.
Do you think JWoww deserves a spot on Time’s list of smartest Twitter celebrities? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it, so feel free to sound off in the comments section below!
