The latest season of The Bachelorette may be over, and we’re all still waiting for the announcement of the next Bachelor star, but that doesn’t mean we won’t have our share of bachelor mania on Monday evenings. In fact,
a revamped version of Bachelor Pad ABC’s newest addition to the Bachelor family, Bachelor in Paradise premieres tonight, and Chris Harrison wants you all to know why you will quickly become addicted to the summer show!
Facebook and Twitter fans were bummed to learn that Bachelor Pad would not be returning, but that is only because it has been replaced with Bachelor in Paradise, which according to Chris Harrison, is just a retooled version of the summer hit. Bachelor in Paradise premieres on ABC tonight, and those appearing as the first set of cast mates looking for love includes: Clare Crawley, AshLee Frazier, Sarah Herron, Daniella McBride, Lacy Faddoul, Michelle Kujawa, Elise Mosca, Michelle Money, Ben Scott, Robert Graham, Graham Bunn,Marquel Martin, Dylan Petitt, and Marcus Grodd. But random additional cast mates will show up later, such as Jesse Kovacs and Chris Bukowksi.
Now, if you’re like most fans, you’re probably wondering what the difference is between Bachelor in Paradise and Bachelor Pad? One word – money! And host Chris Harrison is certain that everyone will become addicted to Bachelor in Paradise, as he told TV Guide recently: “It (Bachelor Pad) became about money, and our show and franchise was never about that. So I think people will love that ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ is about what makes ‘The Bachelor’ and ‘The Bachelorette’ great — only it’s not just [one guy or one girl]. It’s that times 10, which leads to love triangles, drama and amazing dates.”
Guess what else? Rumor has it that one couple has already found love on the show – Marcus Grodd and Lacy Faddoul. We can’t wait to see how this show turns out, can you?
Now it’s your turn to sound off! Will you tune in to see Bachelor in Paradise? Which contestants do you hope will find love? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it. Comment below to share your thoughts with us.
