Facebook critics often scoff at the ladies and gents of The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, claiming that dating should be a cinch when you’re presented with dozens of attractive suitors and plane tickets to glamorous destinations. But being the Bachelorette is not as easy as it looks — just ask Andi Dorfman!
After starring on the latest season of The Bachelorette, Andi Dorfman might be willing to cut Juan Pablo a little slack. After all, if you’re racking up tens of thousands of miles on the plane and getting barely any sleep, you may not have the energy necessary to utter anything beyond “It’s okay.”
During a recent interview with Shape, Andi admitted that, while she loved being a reality star, filming The Bachelorette was much more difficult than she originally anticipated. “The travel schedule was grueling. I averaged about four hours of sleep a night..I learned to love plane rides because that’s where I’d rack up hours of sleep.”
As sleep-deprived Twitter followers may already understand, it’s difficult to look your best when you’re only sleeping a few hours each night. Unfortunately, if you’re the star of The Bachelorette, under eye circles are out of the question. Andi admitted that, as laughable as it may seem, looking good on a minimal amount of sleep was one of the most difficult things about her job. But producers’ emphasis on style and beauty did come with a few perks — Andi now boasts a truly amazing wardrobe!
Do you think being The Bachelorette is as difficult as Andi Dorfman claims? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it, so feel free to sound off in the comments section below!
