The ladies of Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 seem surprisingly functional these days. Amber Portwood is out of jail, Jenelle Evans has resolved her addiction issues and Kailyn Lowry is enjoying her relationship with Javi Marroquin. This is great news for these young women, but not necessarily for MTV. Farrah Abraham would present the perfect opportunity for additional drama, but unfortunately, she is no longer a cast member on Teen Mom.
Did MTV make a mistake when it got rid of Farrah Abraham? The show’s Facebook fans are beginning to think this just might be the case, for, while Farrah is the cast member everybody loves to hate, she also is arguably the source of drama that makes Teen Mom worth watching. Like many of her Twitter followers, the reality star doesn’t think the show will be particularly entertaining in the future. During a recent interview with Life & Style, she admitted, “I don’t think it will be as great without me.”
Although she believes Teen Mom will suffer as a result of her absence, Farrah also feels that it is time to move on. She has other sources of income now — most notably, a lucrative deal at a gentlemen’s club. “Some of the moms on the show still need [the reality television paycheck]. Fortunately for me, I have other ways of making money. I can’t keep doing the same things year after year.”
Do you think Teen Mom will still be entertaining without Farrah Abraham? We know you have an opinion and we want to hear it, so feel free to sound off in the comments section below!
