Phil Robertson and the rest of the clan of Duck Dynasty may be busy filming the new season of the show, but the show’s patriarch still makes sure to schedule in some time to help others. In fact, Robertson has signed on to be a part of fundraiser for a Jewish Ministry this Fall. Details inside!
Phil Robertson’s Facebook and Twitter fans love the fact that he is a man who stands by his Christian beliefs. And if you’re a Jewish fan, you’re going to love the fact that Robertson has decided to help raise funds for a Jewish Ministry in Texas this Fall. The Messianic Jewish Bible Institute has asked Phil, along with his son Alan (who is a Preacher) to join their annual fundraiser.
The Ministry posted the following announcement on their website about the event: “Spend a fun filled evening with the Duck Commander himself, Phil Robertson, and other stars from the mega hit show, A&E’s Duck Dynasty. They’ll share heartwarming and hysterical stories about filming the show, what goes on behind the scenes, their lives, their faith, their family, and ducks. The event will be unscripted and unrehearsed, so who knows what tales of trials, tribulations and triumphs will be told! They’ll be joined by special musical guests who’ll provide their own special brand of toe tapping fun. Celebrate the simple. Laugh with us. Smile with us. Tap your toes with us. And as Phil says, get ‘HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY.’”
The fundraising banquet will take place in Forth Worth, Texas on November 1, 2014. The banquet is said to raise money for Jewish people in Israel. Seats start at $100, with special Duck Commander packages.
