Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Model Search Premiers January 5, 8P.M. ET

NBC joins partner Sports Illustrated to launch a nation-wide search for the next great swimsuit supermodel with its new unscripted series timed for the launch of the magazine’s famed annual Swimsuit Issue.  “The success of the SI Swimsuit Issue has always been in the combination of beauty, athleticism and personality of the models we choose,” said Sports Illustrated Managing Editor Terry McDonell. “Those are exactly the things we’ll be looking for in our winner.”

During Sports Illustrated’s search for an undiscovered model for the popular Swimsuit Issue, the six-episode series will focus on what it takes to become a successful swimsuit model. Twelve selected finalists will live in Los Angeles where they will compete for the chance to appear in the best selling issue of any magazine in the world and win a million-dollar modeling contract from NEXT Model Management. - Source, NBC Press Release

I am 5′8″, long blonde hair, green eyes, 116 lbs and I will be 15 yrs old next year July 12th. My sister Brittany is also 5′8″, natural curly long blonde hair.     Sorry for getting such a late response on this. We’ll be doing a new search for this upcoming season and we need submissions for women who are potentially interested in the 2006 SI Swimsuit Model Search.

    In the email, please include a brief description of yourself (personality, background, etc) as well as any modeling and/or swimsuit pictures you have. Prior model experience is not necessary.

    We’ll be beginning to air commercials on NBC in the next few weeks and hope to get things moving along quickly.
