M.J. Garrett And Brent Cooper to Appear at Backfield in Motion Charity Event

According to their agent, M.J. Garrett of the Real World Philadelphia and Brent Cooper from NBC’s the Contender have just been added to the line-up for the "Backfield in Motion" celebrity golf tournament in Nashville, Tennessee. There will be a golf pairing/selection party and silent auction at Mafiosa’s in Nashville on July 7th, 2005 at 5 pm. The golf tournament will take place in Hermitage, Tennessee on Friday July 8th, 2005. There are more details on the website www.backfieldinmotion.org.

According to their agent, M.J. and Brent haven’t been added to the website yet because they were just able to confirm their availability. Also appearing are hall of fame football players Jim Brown and Archie Griffin.

During 2003-2004, before being cast for MTV’s "The Real World Philadelphia," M.J. was in Marketing Development for the non-profit organization Backfield in Motion, where he also served as a coach and mentor for inner-city youth.

Also, M.J. Garrett will be a recurring guest host for SEC football on Nashville’s 1510 AM Prime Time Sports radio show this football season. M.J. will also be appearing August 6th from 11A.M. to 4P.M. at the Prime Outlets Back in Lebanon, Tennessee at the School Bash with AMAX Talent, Inc. He will be making an appearance as part of a model/talent search and one winner will be selected to be in a country music video. In addition M.J. will be making appearances around the country!!
