Average Joe 4 – Did An Average Joe Really Win?

It was really looking bad for the Average Joes.  Anna Chudoba had narrowed it down to Average Joe Nathan Griffen and hunk Rocky Fain.  Rocky appeared to be Anna’s clear favorite, but then mom entered the picture.  Anna’s mom Halina Chudoba grilled both contestants, asking them such questions as if they had ever cheated on a previous girlfriend.

Rocky admitted to some past infidelities, while Nathan said he had only been on the receiving side of cheating.  Rocky also came across as someone primarily interested in his acting career, while Nathan seemed truly devoted to Anna.  Nathan was the clear favorite of Anna’s mom.

However, when Anna went to a private island with Rocky, her mom’s words of wisdom seem to be quickly forgotten.  Rocky and Anna seemed unable to keep their hands off one another.  Anna’s date with Nathan seemed dramatically different.  Anna seemed to treat a very nervous Nathan as more of a friend.  The kiss scene between them almost seemed forced.

Another Average Joe seemed well on his way to heartbreak.  We could barely stand to watch as the limousine pulled up to let the first contestant out to meet Anna at the final elimination.  If an Average Joe didn’t win this time, it could very well spell the end of the Average Joe franchise.  Fortunately, in a surprise move, Anna sent Rocky packing.  However, Rocky’s sobs and tears afterwards seemed oddly fake. 

Anna wound up choosing Nathan Griffin, sort of.  Anna’s selection speech of Nathan was hardly a declaration of everlasting love.  It came across as more of a possible friendship with no guarantees of anything else.  Did Anna really fall for Nathan?  Did her mom’s advice influence her decision?  Or in the end did Anna decide that she wasn’t interested in a relationship with either guy and just chose Nathan for the sake of good TV?  Whatever the answer, we are glad to see that an Average Joe finally won.

   well i was definetly drawn to rocky when i saw him b/c of his looks but remember looks aren’t everything especially when it comes to an important relationship with a true person.i was also drawn to him with his comment about being a dreamer,i loved it!!

   I thought the average joe Josh - don’t know his surname was gorgeous….. why..why…why did she get rid of him
