Nicole Richie & Adam Goldstein Split

Add Nicole Richie to the long list of reality TV stars who are either calling off engagements or ending marriages. First Paris Hilton ended her engagement with Paris Latsis, then Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey announced their separation, then Kimberly Stewart and Talan Torriero ended their brief engagement, and now Nicole Riche and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein join the list.

As is starting to become customary for all celebrity breakups, a celebrity publicist delivered the news to Us Weekly. According to Us Weekly, Nicole’s rep told them that the couple decided to break off the engagement and that the decision was mutual.

Ironically enough, the Simple Life 4 was recently picked up by E! and is going to focus on putting Paris and Nicole to the matrimonial test. On the show, Paris and Nicole will take turns playing the traditional role of wife and running a household.

I so wanted them to cancel the Simple Life FOREVER! For the teenagers and kids sake! Teens and young kids watch these shows thinking it’s so cool and they should be doing that. Paris and Nicole are not good “rolemodels” for these kids. If you want to prevent teen pregnancy,and other teens issues then stop broadcasting shows like this! Or parents should lock the channel, that way their kids won’t be able to capture all that sick stuff.
