Being Bobby Brown: Christmas With The Browns

Bravo’s hit series “Being Bobby Brown” has kept fans buzzing and with the winter holiday season comes Christmas with the most talked about reality TV family. Bobby and family are in the holiday spirit and will stuff viewers’ stockings with a half-hour dose of “Being Bobby Brown: Christmas with the Browns” premiering on Wednesday, December 21 at 11:00 PM ET/PT.

“Bravo couldn’t let 2005 come to an end without indulging viewers with another helping of ‘Being Bobby Brown’,” Lauren Zalaznick, President of Bravo. “This holiday special will take a look at how this very public family spends their private holiday time together.”

Bobby, Whitney and family are having a “holly jolly Christmas.” Familiar faces from “Being Bobby Brown” return as the whole Brown clan make last minute preparations for their Christmas gathering, from trips to the grocery store, hours in the kitchen cooking the holiday spread, and trimming the tree with care. The half-hour special, “Being Bobby Brown: Christmas with the Browns” will invite viewers to join Bobby, family, friends, and special guests at their Atlanta holiday party.

The series “Being Bobby Brown” premiered June 30, 2005 and followed Brown, his superstar wife Whitney Houston and his extended family over the course of six months. Viewers saw what it was like for them to live their lives in the spotlight, deal with personal problems, all while showing the deep bonds of a close-knit family. The premiere of Bravo’s new reality series, “Being Bobby Brown,” averaged more than 1.1 million total viewers over two back-to-back original episodes and become the highest rated Thursday program premiere in the 25-year history of the network.

“Being Bobby Brown” is co-produced by B2 Entertainment and Brownhouze Entertainment for Bravo. Tracey Baker is executive producer and Wanda Shelley is producer for B2 Entertainment. Bobby Brown and his brother Tommy Brown are co-executive producers of the series.

   saw on TV that they are getting divorced, that Bobby is sick of Whitney’s drug problems now and he wants to make this Bobby Brown show ALL his.

   Too bad Whitney, who used to be a hugely talented singer and actress, CHOSE to throw her entire life down the toilet. What a waste of a life.

   I miss watching the show…It takes a lot of courage to allow us as viewers into your home…I am waiting for the new season to begin! I love both Whitney and Bobby for having the courage to KEEP IT REAL!!! Know that you have a FAN in Indianapolis that will watch and support you NO MATTER WHAT!!!

   The Christmas episode was wildly entertaining. The Browns actually seem happy as Whitney warbles, Silent Night”, “Jingle Bells”, and “We’ll be Home for Chirstmas.!” How sweet these moments were.
   And then Bobby is whisked to court to defend himself once again. Acting as his own lawyer, Bobby is loud and proud.
   And what about the scene where the daughter, Bobby Jean, sasses Whitney and demands more presents!
   Great stuff!
   This family as dyfunctional as the Osbournes without strange accents.
   Rate this episode: ** stars. Whitney’s blank face when she opens an empty box was priceless!!

   Heard on TV last night that Being Bobby Brown show has been totally cancelled because Whitney is no longer available in his life to be on this show. This is indicative that the show really was all about Whitney and Bobby and not about Being Bobby Brown, just himself.

   I’m so happy that Whitney has chosen to rehook up with Clive Davis, her mentor from years ago, and that she has chosen to REALLY CLEAN UP HER LIFE. WAY_2_GO, WHITNEY!!!! It’s about time, young lady!!

   Bobby Brown sux anyway, generally speaking, all around.
