A Bachelorette Passes Out On The Bachelor Rome

As twelve bachelorettes settle into their Tuscan villa, Prince Lorenzo Borghese escorts some of the ladies to the historic sites of the city via Italian scooters, and others to Italy’s Mediterranean coast. One lucky bachelorette is singled-out for an individual date with the Prince to Borghese Villa, on "The Bachelor: Rome," MONDAY, OCTOBER 9 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Lorenzo’s first one-on-one date goes to Lisa, who received the first impression rose and the two-carat diamond earrings, which drives the other women insanely jealous. He takes Lisa to Villa Borghese, the Central Park of Rome, for a full day of getting to know each other. The rest of the women are split into two dates, half on an historic tour of Rome via Italian scooters, while the other half are flown in helicopters to the Italian Mediterranean for a wild beach party. At the beach, a game of tackle bikini football breaks out, and one bachelorette, Kim, has a little too much to drink in the hot sun and embarrasses herself by passing out in front of Lorenzo — a first in "Bachelor" history.

As the pressure to get a rose heats up, one bachelorette, Erica, has an emotional breakdown, while Lisa is verbally attacked by some jealous women and breaks into tears. The competition is apparent when two others secretly sneak into the Prince’s bedroom.

At the rose ceremony, Prince Lorenzo must send 3 girls home in heartbreak, as he narrows the field from 12 bachelorettes to 9.  Hosted by Chris Harrison, "The Bachelor: Rome" is produced by Next Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television. Mike Fleiss and Lisa Levenson are the executive producers. David Bohnert and Martin Hilton are the co-executive producers.

   You know “Joe Reality”, it`s not very nice to tell us what happens before ti actually happens. Some people actually like SUSPENSE!

   The problem with this show is it is so far away from reality that if a Bacholertte passes out, who cares!!
   Like Dynasty for the poor, it doesnt matter if he’s a Prince or a Firestone, these folks are even more fake than Flavor Flav and his harem of Street Mice.!
   The show moves slowly than a solar eclipse…it takes forever for Prince and Princesses to make simple statements.
   Roses, clocks, these shows where someone is chosen make no sense even in Ratings terms.
   How are we to feel when the girl passes out? Sad? Indifferent?
   At least Flavor of Flav is so phony, we can laugh at it. Not with it.
   Shows like this we are so detached from the Prince and his Showgirls, its like a totally artifical world, a soup opera with no soap!!!The Prince will woo her,ring her, and they will fade.
   Flav will keep selecting wild,sassy gals for a good time but there will be no wife.
   Why? Ratings.
   The Batchelor was minor stuff for one season. Now we have a Prince.
   What next? A rich senior searching for his lost highschool sweetheart??
   There’s a show we can all boo and hiss at!!!
