Marie Osmond Passes Out On Dancing With The Stars

The top eight couples Dancing with the Stars performance show started
with a bit of a scare.  Marie Osmond & Jonathan Roberts kicked
things off with a Samba.  After the dance, Marie Osmond jumped up and
down and yelled “Is that enough for you Bruno?”  When head judge Len
Goodman talked about how the Samba is one of the hardest dances to
master, Marie Osmond said “I agree.”

As Len Goodman continued to talk, Marie Osmond could be heard to be breathing heavy.  When the camera cut back to Marie Osmond, her eyes closed, and she fell down and hit the floor with a thud.  Perhaps thinking that Marie was joking around, the audience started laughing. 

Her partner Jonathan Roberts & host Tom Bergeron quickly kneeled down to check on Marie.  As the judges looked on in shock, Tom Bergeron announced “Ok, we’re going to take a commercial break, we’ll be right back.”  After the break, Tom Bergeron said that Marie was fine and was back stage.  Bergeron explained that Marie had passed out and that the first words out of her mouth when she saw them all leaning over her were “Oh crap!”      

When the camera cut to backstage, a winded Marie Osmond waited to receive her scores.  After Marie Osmond & Jonathan Roberts received a score of 21 out of 30 points, host Samantha Harris joked “If you thought fainting would get you tens, it didn’t work.”

   That was shocking!!! I felt Marie moved very slowly during her dance. She didnt seem to have her usual energy!!
   That was a first–I couldnt believe what I was seeing!!
   I doubt viewers will send her home.

   Does anyone else find Samantha Harris annoying? I found it refreshing to have Drew in for her. Since she has returned I put the TV on mute whenever it’s her turn to talk!

   I would like to see the JUDGES actually dance. The hosts danced
   on the second season I believe. I think the fans would love to see
   Len “shake a leg” !

   I cannot believe that Samantha said that! It’s almost like she thought Marie was faking it! I absolutely love Marie. She is so funny, and it scared me to death when she passed out. I’m glad she’s ok, but someone needs to do away with Samantha Harris.

   I wish you would consider having Drew back, maybe next year with the new season. Samantha made a nasty remark to Marie about trying to gain points by pretending to faint, which was totally disgusting! Be GONE with Samantha! I totally respect Marie & always enjoyed watching her & her family perform! She is a beautiful woman!

   Marie did a very difficult dance ;is touring ;travelling for her younger children ,going through a divorce has a history of clinical depression AND is 48 yrs old ,I’d like to see those judges do better—-under similar
   circumstances.She had energy,slithering to the music very interesting choreography with what looked like difficult moves—and yet she only got a 21.
   Now jane seymour who I greatly admire and think is graceful,classy and elegant just didn’t do it in this dance.It looked to me to highlight all her
   best ballet moves and her partners
   best moves while she stood still or pirouetted—-she didn’t deserve the extra pts,

   I would love to see the judges dance. I would bet they would really put on an entertaining show!

   Marie Osmond has been noted for being emotionally unstable at times and I think she faked the fainting too. she is an attention seeker; she probably needed a little more attention since her dancing skills are lacking. The only reason she is still on there is because she has a huge fan base. And it is so creeeeeepy that her brother Donnie said “my sister is so sexy”. Gross….. I think the judging should be left to the pros and not a bunch of people that don’t know crap about real ballroom dancing. I say kick Marie off.

    As for both Marie and Jane, these women have worked hard, and I would like to see these people who criticize, and just see how far they would get after, like Marie, having given birth and carried eight [8] babies.

    Second, I would change the voting system very slightly, and give the judges either 60-40% or 55-45% of vote, advantage. After all, they’re not looking a the dancers face, but they are condentrating on whether they are in sync with the music. Look at Carrie-Ann, she was focusing on the dancers feet, which is dictated in the rules! Just give the judges’ votes a slight edge, and watch and see everything will entually “even itself out!”

    Marie got on my nerves the first night I saw here doing everything to get attention. I made up my mind then and there that I would never vote for her. I have watched her and her brother through the years-they were okay. I guess since she was the only girl in the family she probably got whatever she wanted and knows how to get what she wants. I don’t know why she is still there but she must be buttering up a lot of the voters. Oh yeah, I thought she was faking too. After jumping up and down in front of the judges, she was probably getting herself prepared to hit the floor. She should go get a stunt job if her charm ever wears off with the audience. Bad girl, bad girl. LOL, almost forgot. I had to stop watching “Entertainment Tonight” because Donny was dissing everybody’s dancing except his sisters tired boring dancing.
