Top Chef Holiday Special Airs Tonight

Top Chef is back to get fans in the holiday mood with the Top Chef Holiday Special.  This special competition will feature Top Chef fan favorites from season one, two and three.

Season One’s Stephen Asprinio and Tiffani Faison, Season Two’s Betty Fraser, Marcel Vigneron and Josie Smith-Malave and Season Three’s Chris “C.J.” Jacobson, “Tre” Wilcox and Sandee Birdsong will compete for a grand prize of $20,000.

The chefs will be challenged to prepare a holiday meal for the judges.  The judges include Alfred Portale (Chef at New York’s Gotham Bar and Grill), Eric Ripert (Executive Chef at Le Bernardin in New York), Alan Wong (chef and restaurateur, Hawaii Regional Cuisine), Elizabeth Falkner (Executive Pastry Chef and owner of Citizen Cake in San Francisco), Norman Van Aken (Owner of Norman’s Restaurant in Miami/Orlando), host Padma Lakshmi, head judge Tom Colicchio, and judges Ted Allen and Gail Simmons.  The Top Chef Holiday Special airs on Thursday, December 6 at 9PM ET/PT on Bravo.

Bravo will also launch a new mobile game called Top Chef Challenge.  The game was designed and developed by LimeLife, Inc.  The game is set behind-the-scenes of a Tom Colicchio fictional restaurant.  In the game, players start out as an entry-level dishwasher and can advance to Top Chef.
