American Idol’s Katharine McPhee Gets Married

Looks like those rumors last fallabout Katharine McPhee’s engagement to longtime boyfriend Nick Cokas wasn’t just song and dance after all.

Over the weekend the twosaid “I do”at the Beverly Hills Presbyterian Church, witnessed by 305 friends and family, including fellow season five Idol contestants, Kelly Pickler and Mandesa.

McPhee’s andCokas’ relationshipis no quickieHollywood fling — the couple first met in 2005 whenacting alongside one another in an LA production of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. Cokas, 19 years Katharine’s senior, was one of the producers behind the independent film, The Last Caller, in which Katharine starred.

“[Nick] is the love of my life,” Katharine said in a recent interview. “This is a once in a lifetime occasion and everything is just perfect.”

This summer, newlywed Katharine’s career will take another turn on the big screen, as she stars alongside Anna Faris and Rumer Willis in I Know What Boys Like.
