American Idol Finalist Sanjaya Malakar To Host Where Are They Now Special

American Idol 6 finalist Sanjaya Malakar is back.  No, Idol hasn’t changed the rules to give him another shot during season 7.  Sanjaya will be hosting a TV Guide Network special called “Idol Stars: Where Are They Now.”

The special will give Idol fans a chance to catch up on some of their favorite American Idol contestants from past seasons.  The special will include exclusive interviews and updates on everyone from #1 Sanjaya fan Ashley Feri, “The Crying Girl,” to Kelly Clarkson.

Some of the other American Idol contestants featured include Chris Daughtry, Jordin Sparks, Bo Bice, Melinda Doolittle, Ruben Studdard, and Blake Lewis.  These former Idol finalists and winners will talk about their fame, their latest gigs, and their lives since American Idol

Host Sanjaya Malakar became a media phenomenon during his season of American Idol.  The entire world became fascinated with Sanjaya’s unique hairstyles and his ability to survive for eleven rounds of the competition before being eliminated.  “Idol Stars: Where Are They Now” will premiere on Sunday, February 24th at 8:00 PM ET/PT on the TV Guide Network.
