Bono, Brad Pitt, Miley Cyrus, And Snoop Dogg To Appear On Idol Gives Back

Idol Gives Back 2008

During the last American Idol results show, Ryan Seacrest let the cat out of the bag about some of the amazing guestswho will be appearing on this season’s Idol Gives Back special. Fox has now officially confirmed the celebrities that Seacrest revealed as well as some previously unannounced celebrities.

Some of the celebritieswho have signed on for Idol Gives Back 2008 include Bono, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Miley Cyrus, Mariah Carey, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Fergie, Chris Daughtry, Carrie Underwood, Annie Lennox, John Legend and Snoop Dogg.

Idol Gives Back is a special edition of American Idol that’s purpose is to raise awareness and money for various U.S. and international charities. Last year’s Idol Gives Back received a Governor’s Award Emmy for raising $76 million. Idol Gives Back 2008airs on Wednesday, April 9 from 8 PM to 10 PM ET/PT on FOX.
