Kellie Pickler Returns To American Idol

American Idol has been good to the country music industry. The show has shined the spotlight on such talents as Josh Gracin, Carrie Underwood, Bucky Covington, Phil Stacey, and of course Kellie Pickler. Speaking of Kellie Pickler, she will be returning to the American Idol stage on the top eleven results show.

After appearing on season five of American Idol, Kellie Pickler signed a record deal with 19 Recordings/BNA Records. The label released her debut album “Small Town Girl,” which was the best-selling debut by a solo country artist in the year it was released. The album was also certified gold in January 2007.

Kellie Pickler also recently received a nomination for Top New Female Vocalist by the Academy of Country Music. Last fall, she received her first Country Music Association nomination. Pickler’s singles “I Wonder” and “Red High Heels” both became Top 15 hits. Pickler’s single “Things That Never Cross A Man’s Mind” is currently a Top 20 hit. Pickler is touring with country group Rascal Flatts.

Kellie Picker will perform “Red High Heels” on the American Idol results show on Wednesday, March 19, which airs from 9 PM to 10 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed on FOX.
