The A-List Awards Airs On Bravo

The A-List Awards show aims to recognize the best in food, fashion, design, beauty and pop culture. The first ever A-List Awards show is being hosted by Kathy Griffin, who stars in the reality TV series My Life on the D-List. The A-List Awards are taking place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York and will air on Thursday, June 12 at 10 PM ET/PT on Bravo. There will be a special red carpet pre-show hosted by Project Runway’s Tim Gunn starting at 8:30 PM ET/PT.

In addition to Kathy Griffin and Tim Gunn, some of the other talent that will take part in the A-List Awards includes Lauren Hutton, Dana Delany, Kat Von D, Rainn Wilson, Jon Hamm, Molly Sims, Tila Tequila, Jack McBrayer, Margaret Cho, Tyson Beckford, Nikki Blonsky, Jerry Springer, Karina Smirnoff, Caroline Rhea, Candace Bushnell, Niki Taylor, Rachel Dratch, Christian Siriano, Padma Lakshmi, Anna Sui, Gilles Marini, Jessica Stam, Tom Colicchio, Rocco DiSpirito, Obama Girl, Rebecca Budig, Simon Doonan, Jonathan Adler, Top Chef and Project Runway All-Stars, and The Real Housewives of Orange County and New York City.

The A-List Awards will include a charity fashion show, which will pair Project Runway designers with celebrities to design dresses. Proceeds from the charity fashion show will benefit U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

The fashion show pairings are Candace Bushnell and season 2 designer Daniel Franco, Holly Kiser and season 4 finalist Chris March, Kathy Griffin and season 2 designer Nick Verreos, Katrina Smirnoff and season 3 finalist Michael Knight, Kat Von D and season 4 finalist Sweet P, Niki Taylor and season 3 finalist Laura Bennett, Nikki Blonsky and season 3 designer Malan Breton, and Rebecca Budig and season 3 designer Alison Kelly.

Some of the award categories that should appeal to reality TV fans are A-List Drama Queen, A-List Drama King, and A-List Everywhere. Nominees for the A-List Drama Queen Award are Lauren Conrad of The Hills, Omarosa Manigault-Stallworth of Celebrity Apprentice, Ramona Singer of The Real Housewives of New York City, and Tila Tequila of A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.

Nominees for the A-List Drama King Award are Evil Dick of Big Brother, Piers Morgan of Celebrity Apprentice, Spencer Pratt of The Hills, and Christian Siriano of Project Runway. Nominees for the A-List Everywhere are Barack Obama, Nicole Richie, Ryan Seacrest, and Britney Spears.
