Survivor Gabon And Amazing Race 13 Premiere Dates Announced

The official start of the 2008-2009 television season for CBS doesn’t happen until Monday, September 22.  However, for the seventh consecutive season, CBS is debuting the new edition of Survivor a week before the official start of the season.

Gabon is located in equatorial Africa, and the tagline for Survivor Gabon is “Earth’s Last Eden.”  Survivor Gabon, which is the seventeenth installing of the reality series, will premiere on Thursday, September 18 from 8 PM to 9 PM ET/PT on CBS.  It will be the first edition of Survivor shot in high definition.

CBS also just revealed the start date for the thirteenth edition of The Amazing Race.  The series will premiere on Sunday, September 28 from 8 PM to 9 PM, ET/PT.
