Jamie Foxx To Produce From G’s To Gents For MTV

Comedian and actor Jamie Foxx is teaming up with MTV and Cris Abrego to produce a brand new reality TV series called From G’s To Gents. In the series, fourteen gruff, young G’s will face the challenge of transforming into true gentleman.

The contestants are from such cities as New York, New Jersey, Detroit, California, Miami and Puerto Rico. The contestants will face challenges in style, etiquette, chivalry, business and more. For the G who wins the overall competition, he will receive a $100,000 prize.

From G’s To Gents will also feature a number of special guest stars such as Master P, Ted Allen, Irv Gotti, Ozwald Boateng and Danity Kane. Authors and recording artist Fonzworth Bentley will serve as mentor, life coach and confidante to the contestants. For customers of Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications, access to the first episode will be available on July 8. From G’s To Gents will premiere on Tuesday, July 15 at 10 PM ET/PT on MTV.
