Is Florence Henderson A Fan?

The answer is resoundedly no. Not only is she not a fan but it doesn’t seem like she is a fan of her TV son, Christopher Knight, appearing in so many different shows. She did an interview today at the Television Critics Association to support her upcoming Hallmark Channel movie, LADIES OF THE HOUSE, and had some harsh words to say.

She compared Reality TV to a double edged sword that many actors who want to continue to be in the public eye, but for whatever reason are not successful,use in order to keep themselves from moving on. She then went on to talk about Chris Knight’s appearance on the Surreal Life.

Florence states that hewas dating a woman on the show and that the producers were pushing them to get engaged. He wanted her to come and counselthem and to give her opinion. She didn’t want too but he convinced her. In the end she suggested that they not marry, however Chris did not listen and they got engaged. When he asked her to counsel them before they married she said no, but offered to counsel them when they proceeded with their divorce. OUCH!

After her short stint helping her “son” out on reality television Florence Henderson feels like she has experienced the process and has absolutely no desire to experience it again. Oh well…I guess it isn’t for all of us!
