The Gong Show With Dave Attell Premieres On Comedy Central

Not only is Comedy Central premiering their first unscripted competition series with Reality Bites Back, but the network is also bringing back a reality talent showcase classic. The Gong Show will premiere on Thursday, July 17 at 10 PM on Comedy Central.

The Gong Show will be hosted by Dave Attell this time around. The show will present from seven to ten off-beat and diverse acts. A revolving panel of three celebrity judges will evaluate the acts. The act that receives the highest score from the judges will be crowned the winner at the end of the show.

The premiere episode of The Gong Show will feature Brian Posehn, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog and Steve Schirripa as celebrity judges. Other judges that will appear later in the season include Adam Carolla, Kate Walsh, Andy Dick, Ron White, Dave Navarro, Greg Giraldo, Jim Norton and JB Smoove.
