Kelly Bensimon Joins Second Season Of The Real Housewives Of New York City

The Real Housewives Of New York City is returning for a second season. The good news is that all of the five original stars of the series are returning. The five returning housewives are Alex McCord, Bethenny Frankel, Jill Zarin, LuAnn de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer. The even better news is that they will be joined by a sixth housewife.

Designer, model, author and fashion editor Kelly Bensimon will be the sixth housewife joining the show. In addition to being a columnist for Hamptons Magazine, Bensimon is editor at large for Hamptons, Gotham, and LA Confidential magazines. Also, Bensimon has written three fashion books and created her own line of jewelry. In addition to her busy work schedule, Bensimon is raising two daughters.

“I am flattered by the opportunity to be on The Real Housewives of New York City. I feel it’s a great way to showcase my personal and professional life,” said Bensimon.

Production for the second season has already begun, and once again the series will follow the housewives as the manage their careers, while raising their families and spending summer in the Hamptons.
