Wife Swap: Wrestling Family Swaps With Artistic Cafe Owner Family

Tonight on Wife Swap, a wrestling/sports crazy wife who does all of the dirty work for her family swaps lives with a wife who owns a busy coffe house where the kids do the dishes.

Each week on the show, two families with very different values are chosen to take part in a two-week challenge. The wives from each family exchange families to see what it is like to live another woman’s life. This experiment often changes their lives forever!

The first wife in tonight’s show, is Teresa Ketchum (46) from Oklahoma, who dedicates her life to her son’s wrestling career along with her husband Gary (47).

In this family, sports come first and Teresa dedicates her life to her son Cade’s (15) wrestling career while sacrificing her own wants and needs. She obsesses over his eating by even weighing all of his food and putting a lock on the refrigerator so he doesn’t try to sneak a snack. Her life revolves around Cade, driving him to his matches and organizing his schedule.

Cade’s dad Gary is a retired wrestler himself and also Cade’s coach who doesn’t like sissies. His main goal is to make sure than his son makes his weight.

Wrestling is everything to this family and they think that any artistic activity is considered a sissy sport.

Teresa swaps lives with Donna Sheron (46) who has a passion for art and fulfilling her dream of running a busy coffee shop. Her husband Dan (53) is a sensitive and loving visual artist who supports his wife and her dream.

Donna encourages her children to do anything that is creative, including painting on the walls of their home and her children Jessi (20), Courtney (18), and Clinton “CJ” (16) help run the business, while Sklar (14), Jonah(11),Danni (9) and Sunni (8) hang around the cafe doing their homework and watching the weekend bands and art shows that their mother schedules.

Donna is much more relaxed about parenting and thinks that most are too restrictive with their children.She and her husband detest sports and encourage their children to defy gender stereotypes and pursue what ever their heart desires artistically.

At the end of the swap, will Teresa allow her macho men to show their sensitive side? Will Donna toughen up her family and see the value of sports? Watch this exciting episode and find out!

Wife Swap airs every Wednesday at 8 PM ET on ABC.
