DeAnna Pappas dishes on how to land Jason Mesnick, the newest Bachelor.

So what exactly does it take to get a proposal from Jason? Here is what she had to say.

“You definitely have to do something to put yourself out there to get their attention but don’t be that girl,” the former Bachelorette star told Yo on E! Thursday when asked what advice she has for the 25 ladies who will vie for Mesnick’s heart on the next season of The Bachelor

“Have some respect,” Pappas added, also reminding the women of Mesnick’s love of traveling and dancing.

“He is going to notice you. It’s just like when a guy walks into a bar and you see a bunch of girls. You know right off the bat five of them that you know are hot and you really, really want to talk to.”

“You’re going to remember those five, I promise. The other ones, it’s going to take a little bit, but you know once you remember them, it works.”

For someone who has chosen the other guy, she sure had a lot to say about Jason and I guess who better than the one who let you almost go down on one knee to propose, before breakinghis heart!

DeAnnasaid that Jason needs someone who is down to earth and doesn’t care about the business going on around, because he is a normal guy, meaning that he doesn’t care about being showy, the publicity or the L.A. scene.

DeAnna also reminded the women that they have to remember that Jason’s son Ty will always be his first love and the woman that he chooses must love children and be ready for the life that he is ready for.
