Simon Cowell’s Menage a Trois

Simon Cowell of American Idol spent the night with newly selected judge Kara DioGuardi and Paula Abdul to break the ice.

Kara has just met the famous judges, but apparently she has already become part of the family according to Paula Abdul who told People that they are so happy to have her.

Simon has big dreams for the women and Kara has already had bonding time with all three judges. Simon told People, “We had a picnic last night. I wore jammies and the girls wore negligees and we kind of broke the ice,” he joked. “We had cake until two in the morning.”

Kara says that the judges have welcomed her with open arms, even Simon and she admits that she was initially intimidated to join the group, especially because of Simon’s reputation as being the mean guy. She feels that she will be able to hold her own though in the group.

Hopefully adding a fourth judge will help boost the sagging ratings of the show this season, but even if it doesn’t it will be interesting seeing the new dynamics Kara brings.

Paula is excited to be able to gang up on the guys for once and she commented, “I know Kara well and she speaks her mind.”

Simon had better watch out,he should know that you can’t have your cake and eat it too!
