Did Carrie Underwood Call Jessica Simpson Fat?

The catfight continues between Carrie Underwood, from American Idol and Jessica Simpson, from the Newlyweds and it just keeps getting nastier.

According to OK magazine, Carrie is lashing back this week following Jessica’s recent interview in which she stated that she is unconcerned by Carrie’s claims of getting calls from Tony Rono (Carrie’s ex) as she checks his phone logs and knows exactly who he does and does not call.

Carrie thinks very differently about the whole thing and not only does she think that Jessica is pathetic by putting her love life on display, but apparently she also laughed at her People cover because it looks exactly the same as the one she did with John Mayer, except Jessica is a little fatter! This news of course is once again being delivered via Carrie’s pal, an unnamed reliable source.

As the two women take their battle to the country charts Carrie feels that she will come out on top. “Carrie doesn’t think fans will spend money to watch Jess warble through a few badly written songs,” says her friend.

Can you say, “CATFIGHT?”

   Don’t believe it. Carrie is too classy to talk about Jessica that way.
