Idol Auditions Are Crashed By Rachael Ray

The New York City auditions of American Idol received a surprise visit this week from Rachael Ray and it brought Ryan Seacrest and Randy Jackson a little bit closer.

Rachael showed up at the auditions in a double decker bus and brought lunch and laughs to the hard working judges. Ed McMahon came along for the ride too!

She had everyone singing and sharing, especially Ryan and Randy as theyshared a special moment when they both munched on an end of one of Rachel’s famous wraps.

Paula got in on the act as she commented, “Aww, how cute!”

What did Simon have to say about her visit? She told the Orlando Sentinel “Simon said I looked good. He said he liked my soup. He did not like my brownie,” said Ray with a laugh. “Thankfully, he had to speed off to the next location. I think I got off the hook.”

Season three of The Rachael Ray Show premieres, Monday Sept. 8 and the eighth season ofAmerican Idolwill premiere in January 2009.
