American Idol Winner David Cook Announces His Album Release Date

American Idol winner, David Cook’s album release date has been set and it is just in time for the Christmas rush. The album will be released on Tuesday, November 18, 2008.

David Cook’s producer Rob Cavallo is a Grammy winner and has produced formany famous rockers such asKid Rock and Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Eric Clapton and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Cook signed a recording contract with 19 Recordings/RCA Records a week after he won Idol’s seventh-season crown, defeating David Archuleta by roughly 12 million home viewer votes.

David Cook’sfirst single “The Time of My Life” made its debut at No. 3 on Billboard’s Hot 100 and at No. 1 on the Hot Digital Songs single sales charts after moving 236,000 downloads in its first week of release in May.
